The application process is a bit less automated than it used to be. So let me explain how the process currently works.

Any member wishing to join BK must first find someone willing to sponsor them. This is usually the person that brought you to BK or maybe someone that you have played alongside in game and turned you on to our site. Talk to this person, get to know this person, and then see if they would mind sponsoring you. If you don't know anyone that will sponsor you, get to know us. Play alongside us. Join us in our Vent server. Chat with us on our forums. Most people are willing to sponsor someone that seems friendly and makes an effort to get to know the clan.

Once you have someone to sponsor you, that person will then create a thread in our private forums titled "Sponsoring: [name]" and then will give a brief description of how they know you, why they think you would be a good addition to BK, and a little information about you (for example, we do have an age limit of 18). This thread created by your sponsor will also contain a poll in it. The title of the poll will be your name (ie. "T-Bird" if it were me applying to join). There will be two options: Yes / No

This poll only needs 3 "yes" votes to get you into BK, but cannot have more than 2 "no" votes.

If your poll fails, we are sorry, but you are not meant to be a Black Knight and might think about applying later on down the line.

If your poll passes, you are now a Black Knight at the trial rank of "Squire". You will remain a squire for 30 days. On the 31st day a new poll will be created by your sponsor in a thread titled "Squire promotion vote: [name]". This poll will also be a Yes / No poll and will determine if you are promoted to a full member at Knight of the Rose, or if your trial period has ended and you will not be staying a BK member.  This poll requires 5 "yes" votes to pass or 3 "no" votes for an automatic fail.

If you fail your trial period, you may reapply. If you pass it, congrats! You are now an official full member of The Black Knights, one of the longest clans in gaming history. And we hope to create even more history with you!
